Car Servicing
Servicing your vehicle is very important for maintaining its’ safety, performance and value. In my experience as a MOT tester cars have failed even though they have just been serviced. The problem is with the definition of SERVICE and what it entails. Most vehicle owners don’t ask or are not told exactly what type of car service was carried out. For example an interim Oil Service covers Engine Oil and Filter Change with some visual checks. These checks do not cover all areas that the MOT test covers.
Regardless of which category of Service we do, our checks are equal that of an MOT test, so as to ensure you are aware of the status of your vehicles road worthiness. Also we inform you if we see any borderline failure issues such as low brake pads, deteriorated CV gaiters, tyre damage and deterioration, rust and general body issues. These common problems are a cheap fix if caught early compared to what the repercussions can be if they are allowed to get worse unabated. For example brake pads wearing out completely will mean bare metal making contact with the discs. This will in-turn cause damage to the discs which will now also need changing. Least of all the brakes will not be performing as they should meaning danger to yourself and others on the road.
Below we have specified our service options which all come with an MOT focused check.
